Scotland for Dalai Lama not pandering to China on human rights.

I have posted elsewhere about the importance of cooperation with China. (27 June 2012). But the Scottish Nationalist Government in Scotland pandering to China rather than welcoming the Dalai Lama is a sad example of what is wrong with blinkered nationalism. At time for an Olympic truce promoting peace President Lukashenko of Belarus is even scared of teddy bears campaigning for peace. Parachuting freedom campaigning teddy bears that is (reported on the BBC 1 August). Alex Salmond and the SNP in Scotland apparently would not welcome a renowned World statesman and tireless campaigner for peace. A disgrace in 2012. http://carons-musings.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/willie-rennie-was-right-alex-salmond.html Contrary to that the recent BBC cookery programmes by Ken Hom and Ching-He Huang have celebrated the diversity in China, including minorities, that we rarely hear positively about. (Exploring China: a culinary adventure). Another example of the increasing importance of campaigning chefs over the last few years. They have more credibility than many politicians.
